Today is Skitz's 19th birthday!

Philip and I spent the morning waiting for a UPS delivery... then we went out to do errands like paying rent, looking for wrapping paper and buying Lampe Berger cedar-scented fuel.

Philip had to go to a business meeting with his realtor and her husband. On his way to the westbank, he dropped me off at Le Club to work out. David (who I've mentioned before as being a bar-back and friend of Michael N.) was there. After talking to David tonight I think of him as more of a musician than a bar-back... and he's becoming a friend of mine, too. It's rare and precious to make new friends. He's really a caring person... a quality I like. I hope you all know that David means "beloved" in Hebrew.

Old friends are precious, too... for they get fewer as time goes on. Old friend Richard R. was also at the gym. I love seeing him. He seemed exhausted tonight. I think he has a tendency to run himself thin. I hope you locals go see the current Running with Scissors holiday show he's involved with...

Speaking of shows, Varla's movie GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS was supposed to open at Canal Place Cinema today... but it has been pushed back to December 19th. If you want to see the most offensive movie ever made, be sure to see it. You can also put it on your "save" list on netflix.com.

Philip and I had dinner at Cuco's... His biz meeting went well (more details on that as it progresses). Then we went home and watched PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL on dvd from netflix. It was a lot of fun.
