boring details of my life -
Throwing stuff away has always been difficult for me. I guess I could be described as a pack-rat, but I'm not that way by nature. My mother (who grew up rather poor) always said it was a sin to be wasteful and she'd keep anything that wasn't broken or empty. As a result I get a sick feeling in my stomach when I have to toss something that might be used by someone else. However I get a WONDERFUL feeling when someone else throws stuff away for me! Philip has no problem getting rid of the bottles of product we haven't used in years or the crap we've accumulated that lost its usefulness. There is always that small chance that some of this stuff could be sold in the yard sale we're planning in Alabama at his dad's place... but getting it there seems more trouble than it's worth. So... good-bye cheap, empty, glass, flower-vases. You're going to the scrap-heap in... (I was gonna say "the sky" but it's probably somewhere out in East New Orleans!).
