Philip was too stressed to go to work at the casino again. But he went over to David Tyree's to try to help him hook up a router to his and his new roommate's computers. On his way back home he called his aunt to let her know that he'll be going to Mobile tomorrow to help take care of his dad for the weekend. She has no idea what he's going through OR how he's dealing with his dad's illness. That bitch didn't even tell Philip that his dad had Alzheimer's until recently. Part of this mess is most certainly linked to her lack of communication with Philip. Sure, she kept on saying "your dad is getting worse, your dad is very sick"... but everytime Philip saw or talked to his dad, he'd seem fine... slow-talking maybe, but no signs of dementia. How can Philip's aunt expect him to just know this stuff? She pisses me off.

After I helped Philip see that she's just stressed out and ignorant, he and I watched LAUREL CANYON on dvd from netflix.com. Many of you must know how much I love Christian Bale. In addition to his fine acting, he also shows his nipples, armpits and even a nice flash of butt-crack. But this wonderfully written movie also showcased the N.A.B. of hottie Alessandro Nivola.
