Philip and I had to go to physical therapy for that auto accident that happened to us a few weeks ago. Our necks and backs are still sore... and the lady who ran into us wouldn't settle.

Many, many (like 8 or 9) years ago the exact same thing happened when Varla Jean Merman, Marthon, Heather and I were on a video shoot. We were driving back from a location, Varla was in full drag except for her tall wig which Marthon had on, crouched down in the front seat so the top of the beehive wouldn't scrape the roof of the car. Heather and I were in the back. We stopped behind a car that suddenly stopped to turn into the Burger King parking lot (on St. Charles right near where I still live) and a car slammed into us, knocking us into the car that was in front of us. That time my lower back was hurt mostly. This time it's my upper back and neck.

I'm not paralyzed or anything... my neck and back are just a bit sore... much less so than right after the accident. I've been treating it myself with the hot-tub at Le Club. But it could use a little professional attention.

It's such a weird co-incidence... even though our lawyer is different from the one I went to for the Varla crash, our new lawyer sent Philip and I to the exact same medical center (next to Moler Beauty College on Canal Street) that I had to go to for that crash of long ago! I saw the same doctor... the same Jamaican x-ray lady took my spine's pix... It was like the Twilight Zone.

The rest of the day I did my errands (four grocery stores looking for more fat-free sugar-free jello products, bank, post offic, gym) on foot while Philip and a guy he hired worked at the renovation house.

Boat boys Mike and Allan invited us for dinner... it was delicious, as always.

Philip had to get to bed early so he could continue his renovations tomorrow, but we watched the tape of STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE from earlier this evening before he trotted off to bed... I stayed up a bit later, still trying to catch up on work. And ya'll be sure to read some of Musing's musings, an online log written by a friend of mine!
