The diary of Vidkid Timo

boring details of my life -
What a day! It started out rough... rent due, bills pouring in... incoming-check late (they swear it's in the mail)... But things started looking up when I got another small distribution order from Eastern Video (thanks eternally to Julius of Paradise). And I offered a video special, so I got a few small orders, too.
I worked all day, makin' copies.
Philip is finding out that this renovation house is just like the Tom Hanks' movie THE MONEY PIT. They're gonna have to go over their budget unless Philip can think of a creative way to cut LOTS of costs.
He and I watched SMALLVILLE which I taped last night. We also watched FRIENDS, THE APPRENTICE and MORE THAN HUMAN on cable. For din-din I made stank-ass salad and beefy noodles... cherry jello, too.
The best part of the day was when I checked my email for the last time before getting ready for bed. One of my dear ex-boyfriends wrote me an email. I love this guy like you wouldn't believe... but we've had very little communication since our relationship didn't pan out (like four years ago, the Pueris Collection # 25 era). He told me things that he needed to say... things that I needed to hear. Karmic repair... for both of us. It felt so wonderful.
Devin once described the "melting" sensation that you feel when you're either falling in love or forgiving someone. In a way, it's the same feeling... astonishing. Life, and the way its mystery unfolds, continues to delight me. I'm so grateful for the special people who touch my heart.
I could really go off and get mushy-philosophical... but I'll save that for another time. (cue Sarah McLachlan's When She Loved Me song until fade-out) on this Thursday, February 5th, 2004.
