Since Philip and I exchanged our Valentine tokens last night, we spent the morning reaffirming our love for each other with tender words.

I also sent some Valentine emails to special friends and ex-boyfriends. Nearly all of them responded.

Cameron and Nathan came by to lend moral support to my long lost model Leo, who came over so I could take some pix of him with his new hair-style. I wish my locks would grow like Leo's...

We had dinner at Petunias for Chris Harding's birthday. His boyfriend Nelson and many of their friends from Florida were there. Cameron and Nathan hadn't seen Chris since we filmed ORGY OF SIX! It was so fun seeing Chris get a little drunk. I felt slightly uncomfortable the whole time... I'm such a social retard. Philip kept finding bits of crab shell in his food... and I pigged-out on one of those infant-sized St. Louis cr�pes flamb� (stuffed with ice cream, pecans, cherries, bananas and rum sauce) so Philip and I have gotten Petunias out of our systems. But I was so glad to be able to celebrate Chris' birthday with him. He is one of my favorite people in the world.

It was sooooo cold leaving the restaurant, walking through the damp, dark French Quarter streets trying to find a cab (the Mardi Gras parades prevented us from actually driving). I started feeling sick by the time we got home. Was it the low temperature? Or the cr�pes? Cripes!

Oh, before I forget, Varla Jean Merman's movie GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS is now available for pre-ordering on amazon.com. I wrote a review for it and that got posted today. I must also acknowledge on this day of pink-lacey-hearts that Varla is one of the great loves of my life.
