boring details of my life -
Yet another day went by with NO check from the distributor. The guy I spoke with said they'd really mail it this week (I was hoping for Monday since it was already a couple of weeks late... but I'll try to be a team player and accept that perhaps it's getting mailed tomorrow). If I don't have it by next Wednesday, I'll have to call them and have another melt-down. It really sucks.
On a lighter note, I've gotten a few medium-sized orders, which will help me pay rent.
:-)
That doesn't stop my other bills from being late... late fees will end up costing me a month's rent...
:-(
I worked at home all day... except for making two trips to the post office to mail out orders. On the walk back from one of those mail-runs, I went to grab a drink (and lottery tickets) at the Lee Circle gas station and the weather lady Margaret Orr was there. She's hot in a Susan Sarandon way.
When Philip told me that he hadn't balanced the renovation biz's checkbook and that he only had $55 left, I literally got ill. Thank goodness his financial backer didn't deposit all the money into the checking account Philip was drawing from... so there IS a little money for them to use until another loan gets processed. It's all too much for me to think about. But it's just enough to make me sick.
I had to call my dear friend Denny to vent about all of my life's recent stresses.
But the day did have highlight, of course. MID-SUMMER DREAMS got another rave review... this time on hotsapien.com. Go take a look at their video review section (that part of their site is free) and read it. They love Brandon Baker, Scott Bradley and Brock Webster.
When Philip came home I was still sick and exhausted, but I made dinner anyway... that felt good. He and I watched WILL AND GRACE, THE APPRENTICE and the first half of that show about the secret audio recordings of Princess Di.
Soon after the late night talk shows I went to sleep on this Thursday, March 4th, 2004.
