Another day went by... still no check from the distributor.

I tried not to let being extra-broke bother me. While Philip went over to radio-talk-show-host David Tyree's house to help him put up some new hammered metal electrical face-plates, I started working on editing Pueris Collection # 40!

I also went to the post office, twice, to mail out some orders.

I baked some mini-corn-dogs for dinner, just to get them out of freezer (to make room for healthier stuff, of course). I made sugar-free fat-free chocolate maple bread pudding parfait for dessert.

The sad realization that the renovation house is turning into a money pit is becoming more and more apparent. Philip's financial backers are getting worried and seem inclined to just stop working on it when the money runs out (next week or so) and just try to sell the house as-is.

But Philip has been expecting this and is looking into selling vitamins and weight loss products. He's getting a website set up. I'll refer ya'll to it when it's ready to roll.

So, ya'll may have noticed that we haven't been seeing as many movies as we usually see. Well, when money is tight, the first thing to go was our numerous restaurant visits. The next thing to go was traipsing off to the cinema. If finances don't pick up I'll have to cut down my netflix! Oi!

But believe it or not... besides the not having money... I'm soooooo happy.

Oh, I forgot to tell ya, while flipping channels tonight, I caught the tail end of an interview of John Updike... and he said something about "not being able to please everyone... but to please intensely those you please at all." I identify with that.

And just for you people who read my diary wanting a beef-cake alert... check out Brent from MAD MAD HOUSE (the new reality t.v. show on the Sci-Fi network). They showed him shirtless on tonight's episode... smooth, toned perfection.
