Just because yesterday was Philip's birthday didn't mean I wasn't aware of the terrorist attack in Spain. I just chose not to write or think about it since I had so much other stuff going on in my little brain. I watch several hours of news programing per day (usually CNN and / or HEADLINE NEWS) so I know some of what's going on in the world. But, frankly, I don't really grasp the anger and destructive mentality that can lead people to murder... especially mass murder. I still believe deep down that if we were all just suckin' each others' dicks, the world would be a happier place.

Speaking of happy... I was delighted to read that Michael Soldier won best actor at this year's GayVN awards! Michael made his debut in an x-rated film (in a non-explicit character role) in my old porn-with-plot video, AT TWILIGHT COME THE FLESH-EATERS. It was a joy watching him work. His toe-nail-painting scene is priceless.

Sexy Italian hunk Jonno wrote me later and told me that in addition to Michael winning, our friend Wash West also won some awards. Good for them! I love when my friends do well!

I spent the whole day working on Pueris Collection # 40. In the morning my pen-pal friend Irby dropped by to grab some dvd's. It's nice to be able to put a face with a name. Otherwise my brain lumps that kind of info together... like a casserole.

When Philip got back from working at the renovation house I had dinner ready... turkey mignon covered in Swiss cheese, asparagus-chicken soup, salads... white chocolate pudding over Philip's left over chocolate birthday cake.
