boring details of my life -
After going over all the facts and weighing all the options, Philip and I have decided to try to get a new lawyer to do what needs to be done with Philip's dad's probate stuff. It is an emergency at this point. The main problem with that is that it'll cost around $1500 for the new lawyer's retainer fee... but I think I can scrape that up to lend it to Philip and his mom.
I'll give more details in the future, once it's less stressful to think (and type) about.
