It was a fairly normal day. I played with the kitties in the backyard. When Philip got home from work we watched LEGALLY BLOND 2: RED, WHITE & BLOND on one of the high definition channels. The best part was seeing a cameo role by Jackie Hoffman, who I've met when she and Varla did a play in NYC that I did the videos for. After dinner I made some of that Serendipity3 Frrrozen Hot Chocolate that I first heard about on "Oprah" a few months ago.

2004 is coming to an end... but it was always stick in my mind as a year of great change. I decided to stop making porn... and eventually to stop selling it, too. I decided to move to Alabama so Philip and I could quit struggling to make ends meet in New Orleans and work toward something more permanent by living in and fixing up Philip's dad's home and 11 acres (which will belong to Philip someday). This is the year that my brother's 14 year marriage dissolved. And this is the year that we became parents of three cats, who quickly worked their way into our hearts.

I've never been more content just to be myself, commune with nature and focus on renovation. That was my 2004... and that will be my 2005.
