This was the first such gala Philip and I have ever seen in high definition... and it really improved the experience, lemme tell ya. We were very happy for all of the winners... and all the nominees, really.

Jamie Foxx (from the bio-pic RAY which I haven't seen yet... but surely will) gave a beautiful and emotional acceptance speech... my favorite ever... along with Halle Berry's from a few years ago (for MONSTER'S BALL).
