Aside from a very pleasant culinary experience, the waiter dropped a knife on me while removing a plate from the table. I bled... just a little. The manager rushed over to apologize but he didn't comp our desserts, which is what he should have done. But hey, what can one expect from Mississippi.

I decided not to raise a stink with security (which is supposedly where I was going to have to get a band-aid... and file a report of the incident... totally not worth it).

When we came home we watched APPLESEED on dvd from netflix.com. It's a Japanese anime film about the struggle between humans and clones... in what's supposed to be a utopia. The art direction is wonderful. It was a joy to watch. The music wasn't half-bad either (if you like that silly, bouncy dance-stuff).
